Elyssa ʻLysʻ Elliott, from Mililani on the island of Oʻahu, has joined Papa Ola Lokahi as Community Liaison.
Lys graduated from Sacred Hearts Academy and studied public health and sociology the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Currently she is finishing her master's degree in Epidemiology through the Myron B. Thompson School of Social Work and Public Health.
Lys is passionate about women's health, access to education, and health affected by migration. When she is not working or studying Lys enjoys going on walks with her family's dogs, Rocket and Maka Hina, as well as sewing and baking.
